Building & Grounds

The Building and Grounds Committee oversees the care and maintenance of the Meetinghouse and approves any use of the Meetinghouse for meeting activities requiring wider discernment.

The natural area is a conservation area, a water recharge area and most of it is a wetland.  The Building and Grounds Committee seeks to be good stewards of the land and to improve the wildlife habitat of the natural area through removal of invasive exotic species and planting of native species.

The committee schedules cleanups and participates yearly in the Great Air Potato Roundup.

Enjoy our Building & Grounds through the storytelling of native plant enthusiasts and adventurers Jean Larson & Bill Mitchell. Together they contribute A Walk In The Quaker Woods, a treasured page in our monthly newsletter.
